Our Group Tour itineraries are dedicated to providing longer experiences for larger groups and include:
 

  • One Day Tours:  Created specifically for our group tour planners, our full-day tours are a perfect addition to an itinerary that you may be planning. Choose one city - or string multiple cities together to create your own Great Lakes itinerary!
     

  • Multi-Day Tours: We work with many groups such as yours to offer a multi-day trip that shows off multiple cities in the Great Lakes region. We're happy to serve as a receptive tour operator in the Great Lakes region ready to assist with your itinerary planning, hotel and transportation needs. We have 3- or 5-day itineraries combining Chicago / Illinois and Milwaukee /Wisconsin, we offer insightful and thoughtfully planned Circle Lake Superior and Circle Michigan itineraries, offer a Driftless Discovery itinerary featuring Frank Lloyd Wright and the Driftless region of Wisconsin, and have holiday themed trips. These itineraries are always a great starting spot to begin to craft a custom itinerary with you. 
     

  • Step-On Guides:  As a result of working with various cruise lines sailing on the Great Lakes, we've built a team of nearly 200 local tour guides, naturalists and historians spanning more than 20 port cities on the Great Lakes. Simply need a step on guide in Cleveland, Detroit, Mackinac Island, Duluth or more? We have an expert ready to lead your next tour and will make sure to craft the best driving routes to maximize the sightseeing experience for your guests in-between attractions.

 

For all of our group travel tours, the items noted in the itineraries (such as food, drinks and attraction admission costs), taxes, and gratuities at each restaurant are included in the per person cost. Our Group Tour offerings have pricing reflective of utilizing your coach and driver for the tour. If you need a coach, please ask and we’re happy to provide pricing

Theresa Nemetz has been working with Viking officials for over a year to craft unique excursions for passengers to explore destinations when boarding and disembarking cruises. Her company, Milwaukee Food & City Tours, has been creating authentic food and history-centric city tours in Milwaukee for 13 years, so it was a natural pair.
